A house that smells of warm bread, lavender and olive wood
La Casina is the home our family has cared for over four generations, on a quiet hill a few minutes from Arezzo. Four apartments, slowly restored by the hands of local craftsmen, each with its own personality, each looking onto a different horizon. Cypresses, vines, and that thick silence only Tuscany knows how to give.
There is no rush here, no front desk, nothing artificial. There is a key we hand you ourselves, a welcome basket with our own olive oil, and all the time in the world.

Slow living, the Tuscan way
The family's olive oil
Three hundred trees, harvested in November, cold-pressed within 24 hours. We invite you to taste our extra virgin straight from the bottle.
01The long table
One evening a week, in summer, a long table under the pergola. Hand-made pasta, our neighbours' wine, and the sun setting over the Val di Chiana.
02The paths
Seven marked trails leave from the house: to the Casentino, to the medieval pievi, to the hermitages. We prepare your map and bread for lunch.
03Cypress road
Five minutes on foot and you step into a row of cypresses that looks painted. It's our secret garden — and we love sharing it.
04Where we are
Ten minutes from Arezzo,
in another century
La Casina sits on a hillside near Arezzo, a perfect base for the heart of Tuscany: Siena 50 minutes away, Florence an hour, Cortona just around the corner. And yet, from here, you feel both everywhere and beautifully nowhere.
